Tottenham were able to secure a 2-0 victory over London rivals Fulham at home thanks to goals from Son Heung-min and James Maddison. Son opened the scoring in the first half to give Spurs the lead with a terrific finish into the top right corner of the net! Maddison added an insurance goal later on to seal the three points for Ange’s men. Tottenham dominated possession and controlled the match for much of the 90 minutes. Despite this, Viccario was forced to make two incredible saves in the match, keeping the clean sheet.
The clean sheet and victory moves Tottenham back to the top of the Premier League table as they continue their strong start to the 2023-24 season which has surprised many since the incredible arrival of Ange Postecoglou who now holds the record for the best start by a manager after 9 games in Premier League history.

Son opened the scoring with an incredible goal after a terrific intercept in the middle of the pitch. He was able to keep his composure, drop his shoulder and place the ball in the right hand corner of the net, giving Leno no chance!
Maddison then confirmed the Spurs win, with a terrific finish after yet again another intercept from a Fulham pass, Son was then able to hold the ball up before playing in Maddison who timed his run perfectly before placing the ball in the bottom right hand corner of the net.
