West Ham United are continuing in their pursuit of a new right back, this time it’s Oscar Mingueza. According to a report in Spanish magazine Fichajes , there is interest in Oscar Mingueza from West Ham United. The Hammers are looking for a right-back ahead of the January transfer window. And they have set their sights on the 24-year-old former Barcelona provider. This comes just days after it was revealed that West Ham were also looking at Manchester United, right back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Oscar Mingueza has been terrific this season for Celta Vigo since arriving from Barcelona last year. His consistent form and ability to be played across the backline makes him an ideal replacement for Vladimir Coufal. If we are going to compare who suits West Ham better in terms of style of play, Wan-Bissaka would be an ideal fit due to his incredible defending ability.
The report also suggests that it would take a €20m offer for Celta Vigo to consider accepting a deal from West Ham United. West Ham alternatively will continue to explore further options in that right back position as they continue to push for a strong finish in the Premier League.
